The Donovan Pinscher is a purpose bred dog developed by Dominick Donovan in the early 1990's from a combination of various Herder, Terrier and Mastiff type breeds. They are accomplished in protection sports, police work, scent detection and are showing great promise in agility, dock diving, weight pull and other sports requiring a high level of athleticism.
